My story is similar to many.

When I was 19 years old in college I was called over to a little table and invited to sign up for a credit card.

“ooh new boots!”, I thought

So off I went with a new $500 in fun money (in my mind) and I bought those boots.

That was 40 years go and I remember EVERYTHING about those boots. The look, how I felt in them, how they felt, how much they cost, even ($40).

Suddenly it’s 40 years later and I have never gotten out of debt.

Yet I refuse to give up.

I refuse to stop dreaming of a day where the debt doesn’t hang over my head like a hammer ready to drop.

The stress of debt is too much and I am committing with this blog to make it better.

I don’t know how.

I don’t know when.

But I’m determined to turn this around and go from over $100k in debt to $0.

This blog is anonymous for now. I run a business and I’m a mom of two and I don’t want to share this with the people in my life until I’m ready. If you’re in this kind of debt, too, I’m sure you understand.

In the meantime I hope this helps others, inspires you and maybe we can help each other.

Cheers!

xoxo, A
